Producers and forest landowners can apply now for South Carolina’s State Disaster Relief Block Grant for Helene.
The application period runs from 5/12/2026 through 7/11/2026.
The $38 million in federal aid is for four types of production losses not covered by other USDA programs or crop insurance: infrastructure damage, market losses, future economic losses, and timber losses. Only losses in counties that received a Presidential Disaster Declaration for Hurricane Helene are eligible. You can read more below about eligible losses.
